Hello, I am Omkar Prakash Bhogate, a self-taught photographer based in Mumbai. I was born and raised in the small town of Rajapur on the west coast of Maharashtra Konkan. Growing up, I never thought I would pursue a career in photography. In fact, I wasn't sure about my career path until the second year of my B.Sc. (IT) studies, when I realized my passion for photography.

I discovered how much I loved creating images, capturing videos, editing them, and bringing my own perspective to my work. This led me to believe that photography is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, and that I could make a living from it.

To achieve my dream of becoming a photographer, I graduated from B.Sc. (IT) and moved to Mumbai to get a job in IT, to cover my expenses while I pursued my photography dreams. Every day since, I feel that I am getting closer to my goal, and I am still learning, observing, and practicing.

This portfolio is a representation of my photography journey so far, but I know that I have a long way to go to establish my own place in this field. I am determined to keep grinding towards this goal.
